Nancy Bird Walton the first woman pilot to get her commercial pilot licence died today at the age of 93, she was one of Australia's most famous Aviators. Nancy Bird was a founding member of the Australian Women Pilot's Association and also pioneered an Air Ambulance Service in outback New South Wales.
